In this piece I've also expressed certain personal influences: my mixed - ethnicity (Fiji-Indian & European & more!) - Hindu\/Indian art styles I grew up with plus my 'other half' - Judaeo-Christian & the orthodox icon painting style which I adore.\u00a0<\/p>

There is no other love like that a mother (or father!) may have for her\/his child, no greater joy, no greater source of pain...it is a sacred bond that sadly is not always realised or felt by all of us. The Great Mother can give you that quality of unconditional love & support. We must learn to let go of self-criticism and be open to receive. We must also learn to parent our selves and become our own best friend.<\/p>
