A joyful Laughing Elephant Mandala art print from the original acrylic painting. These colours are to act as a tool to help balance and ground the root, sacral, solar plexus chakras\/energy centres. This is inspired by my mixed heritage, Indian and European.<\/p>

This design started life as a commission in 2012. I used it as an opportunity to further explore mandalas and sacred geometry - like many artists and lightworkers I\u2019ve also heard the call to look in this direction in over the years. The 8 points are inspired by the Aztec Calendar stone, as well as the Buddhist Dharma chakra or wheel. This 8 spoked wheel is a symbol for self-knowledge and knowledge of the Truth (of existence). This is known as the 8-fold path. It can be thought of as purity of thought, word, deed; all have vibrational qualities which either enhance or depreciate our life experience. Furthermore, the 8-pointed star symbolises, harmony, unity and stability.<\/p>

The orange on black dashes indicate the constantly moving energy particles that underpin physical reality manifestation. 8, when placed horizontally, is a symbol for infinity - here we mean the infinity of Creation, of Life in its broadest terms. <\/p>
<\/p>
This version of an 8 pointed star, formed by 2 overlapped squares, is called the octagram. It can be associated with the planet Venus, symbol of Love, and as the first light visible in the morning sky it can symbolise victory over (inner) darkness (ignorance\/fear). It also signifies enlightenment, to become filled with light.
